About Me

I'm a broadcast meteorologist with over five years of experience in forecasting, presenting, and telling weather stories. I'm passionate about severe weather, and helping keep the communities I serve informed and prepared for the weather that impacts them everyday. My favorite things about the job are coming up with creative and unique ways to tell a weather story, and getting out into the community. Whether it is for live shots, visiting schools, or festivals, I love getting to connect with the people I serve.

Work Experience

Chief Meteorologist

Weekend Meteorologist

August 2019 - July 2020

Returning to my home market, I have been able to bring the skillsets that I have learned over the years to serve this market. While also gaining further experience on live shots, covering storm damage, writing, editing and telling weather stories. Additionally, I have grown in my presentation skills, severe weather coverage, and graphic design abillties.

As Chief Meteorologist, I took the opportunity to guide the weather team through daily operations and significant weather events. This role allowed me to enhance my skills in weather presentation, as well as severe weather forecasting and planning. Throughout my tenure, I led coverage during the Texas winter storm of 2021 and other severe storm events.

As a weekend meteorologist, I developed skills in graphic design, video editing, and weather presentation. I also took on the responsibility of managing social media accounts and creating web content. When severe storms rolled through, I stepped up to the challenge of long hours and late nights of assisting my weather team with coverage.
